Lock Block - Privacy Policy
Lock Block Pty Limited ('Lock Block') observes the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian privacy Principles in collecting, using, disclosing and disposing of the personal information of its customers or potential customers.
Personal information is any information that can be used to identify a person. The types of information that Lock Block will collect include the names, addresses, organisation of which they are representative, and contact details.
The purposes for which Lock Block collects such information are as follows:
- to facilitate communication with customers and/or potential customers;
- to maintain a database of its customers and/or potential customers; and
- to maintain appropriate business records in relation to sales, product warranties etc.
Lock Block will not disclose the personal information of a customer or potential customer without the specific written consent of that customer or potential customer. In accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles, Lock Block will endeavour to ensure that:
- personal information is kept secure;
- personal information will be maintained accurately. Customers and/or potential customers should contact Lock Block to update any personal information that Lock Block may hold relating to them.
- personal information will be destroyed when it is no longer required for any purpose for which it was collected; and
- customers and/or potential customers may gain access to their personal information held by Lock Block and may correct it if necessary.
